Anthony B. Kenney of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, has been named a 2025 Territories Alumnus of the Year, representing CST 14.

An Eagle Scout from the Blue Grass Council, Anthony began his Scouting journey as a Cub Scout in 1996. He currently serves as the council’s Vice President of Alumni Relations and holds national leadership roles, including National Coordinator for Camp Alumni Associations on the Scouting Alumni National Committee.

As the Alumni Specialist for CST 14, Anthony led a major milestone—making CST 14 the first territory in the country to establish Alumni and/or NESA Committees in all of its councils. He also served as Logistics Lead for the inaugural National Gathering of Alumni in 2022 and was Deputy Lead for the Alumni Relations Exhibit at the 2023 National Jamboree—a role he will continue for the 2026 Jamboree.

Professionally, Anthony brings over a decade of experience with the Kentucky Division of Forestry, where he currently serves as Environmental Control Manager for Forest Management. He is also a seasoned all-risk emergency responder, having deployed hundreds of times for wildfire suppression, ice storms, tornadoes, and floods at the local, state, and national levels.
