Congratulations to Tony Sarao on an extraordinary milestone, 80 years of dedication to scouting! What began as a 12-year-old’s curiosity after reading a Scout magazine has grown into a lifetime of service, leadership, and community impact.
Over eight decades, Tony has served in numerous roles, from Scoutmaster to District Commissioner, mentoring generations of young people and exemplifying what it means to lead with purpose. His many honors, including the Silver Beaver Award and Vigil Honor, reflect a lifetime of commitment to service above self.
Even more inspiring is the legacy he has built with his family. His son, Steve, now celebrating 50 years in scouting, continues that tradition of giving back, highlighting the lasting influence of Tony’s example both at home and in the community.
Thank you, Tony, for your unwavering dedication, for the lives you have shaped, and for showing us the true meaning of leadership and service. Your journey is a powerful reminder that one small decision can have a lifelong, multigenerational impact.
Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
