Scouting America Is on the Fast Track to Remain Relevant

by Mike Matzinger

Scouting America is taking STEM learning to the fast lane through a new 2026 season-long partnership with AB Motorsports. Working alongside four-time Top Fuel world champion Antron Brown, this collaboration will give Scouts hands-on access to the science, technology, engineering, and teamwork behind NHRA drag racing at select national events across the season.

Through interactive STEM activations, engineering demonstrations, and team-based challenges, Scouts will see firsthand how data, precision, and preparation translate into performance on race day. They will also have the opportunity to step inside a professional race team’s pit, connecting what they learn in the classroom to real-world applications in one of the most technologically advanced sports in the world.

Supported by World Wide Technology, the initiative reinforces Scouting America’s mission to prepare nearly one million youth for lives of leadership and impact, while opening doors to future careers in STEM. For Antron Brown, the partnership is about more than racing. It is about mentorship, exposure, and helping young people realize what is possible.

Launching this April in Pomona and continuing in Charlotte, the partnership brings a new level of experiential learning to the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
