William (Bill) T. Litton - New National Affiliate Groups Lead
Bill has been a member of the Scouting program for over 44 years. An Eagle Scout (Class of 1989), Bill has served in a variety of roles at the district, council, territory, and national levels. He joined the Scouting Alumni National Committee in 2019 as a Coordinator for the Council Support Subcommittee where he oversaw the Southern Territories service team supporting NESA and Alumni Committees for councils in CSTs 7, 14, 15, 16. Currently, his focus is the continued engagement and training of each of the National Affiliate Groups, which ultimately strengthens and grows the Scouting Alumni program.
Locally, he is a Board Member and past NESA Chair for the Central Florida Council. Bill is also the Co-Chair of the Emergency Management National Affinity Group. In addition, he has served on the Emergency Management leadership team for National Jamborees since 2017. Professionally, Bill is the Emergency Management Director for Osceola County (FL) and is both a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) with the International Association of Emergency Managers, and a Florida Professional Emergency Manager.
