Helaina Danetta Rivers, Henri Daniel Lispare Rivers IV, and Henniyah Danella Rivers have been recognized with the Sheriff Toulon Community Leadership Award for their exceptional contributions to public service and community improvement.
The three siblings, who recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout, are the first set of triplets in New York State to achieve this distinction and the first Black triplets in the United States to do so. Their Eagle Scout service projects focused on enhancements to the grounds of Brightwaters Town Hall, demonstrating a commitment to civic responsibility and leadership.
The award acknowledges both their individual efforts and their collective impact as members of the scouting community. Their achievements reflect the core values of service, perseverance, and leadership in action.
