by Mike Matzinger

Scouting leader Pierre “Frank” O’Hare was recognized with the Lamb Award during Scout Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Presented by Faith Lutheran Church and Muskingum Valley Council of Scouting America, the Lamb Award recognizes distinguished service to church and youth. O’Hare was nominated by church and community leaders, with approval from Programs of Religious Activities with Youth (PRAY), a national nonprofit that administers religious recognition programs for organizations, including Scouting America and Girl Scouts of the USA.

A Howard resident and recipient of the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award (DESA), O’Hare has dedicated more than six decades to Scouting, beginning as a Cub Scout in 1959. The Lamb Award reflects his lasting commitment to fostering spiritual growth and leadership development through church and youth programs.

Congratulations to Frank on this well-deserved recognition and for a lifetime of service to faith and community.
