A crew of Sea Scouts, known as “Greek Fire,” made history by winning the 38th annual Harvest Moon Regatta — becoming the first-ever Sea Scout Ship to take the title.
Competing against 83 adult-manned vessels on the 147-nautical-mile route from Galveston to Port Aransas, the teens showed incredible teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving — even repairing a broken sail in the dark of night.
Beyond the victory, the real win is in the life lessons learned — leadership, collaboration, and confidence on and off the water.
Greek Fire proved that the next generation can lead — even in choppy waters.
