Congratulations to Yvette Maskrey on being elected Board President of Scouting America’s Aloha Council, becoming the first woman to serve in this role in the council’s history. This is a meaningful milestone and a reflection of her leadership and commitment to Scouting.
Congratulations as well to Glenn Kitagawa on being named Maui Nui District Chair. His years of professional experience and dedicated service in roles ranging from Cubmaster to district leadership highlight the kind of volunteer commitment that strengthens Scouting at every level.
Thank you to Yvette, Glenn, and all those who step forward to serve. Leadership like this ensures that thousands of young people continue to benefit from the values and experiences Scouting provides.
For Scouting alumni, this is also a reminder that local districts and councils are always looking for volunteers. Whether serving on a board, supporting a unit, or mentoring youth, there are many ways to give back and make a lasting impact in your community. Consider reaching out today to volunteer.
