After recent snowstorms left many seniors unable to clear their long, icy driveways, the Oakland Senior Center put out an urgent call for help, especially from volunteers with snowblowers. Local Troop 49 stepped up without hesitation. Scouts spent hours in freezing conditions clearing driveways, walkways, steps, and even fire hydrants for elderly residents.
