Today, October 1, 2024, we celebrate the 100th birthday of Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States, who was a Scoutmaster and Explorer advisor while his three sons were Scouts. His wife, Rosalynn, was also active as a Den Mother and Cubmaster. Their youngest child, Amy, is the mother of Errol Carter Kelly, a Scout in Troop 101.
